Let us explain why August 6-7, 2025, are about to become the most exciting 48 hours in Tri-Cities fundraising history.
Building on an Amazing Foundation
Last year, we launched our very first Giving Blitz, and wow, did our community show up! In 48 hours, we raised over $42,000, unlocked 5 sponsor challenges, reached more than 25,000 people on social media, and proved that when the Tri-Cities comes together, incredible things happen. The energy was electric. The community response was overwhelming. And we knew immediately: this has to happen again.
The Giving Blitz: Fundraising, Reimagined
The Giving Blitz isn’t your typical fundraiser. It’s a high-energy, community-wide challenge that transforms how we think about charitable giving. For 48 straight hours, from 12 AM on Wednesday, August 6, through 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 7, our entire community will rally together with one ambitious goal: raise $50,000 to support life-changing programs for individuals with disabilities.
But here’s what makes the Giving Blitz truly special: we’ve created a sponsor challenge system that multiplies the impact of every single donation.
How Sponsor Challenges Work
Imagine this: you decide to make a $25 donation during the Giving Blitz. That $25 doesn’t just support our programs directly—it could also be the donation that unlocks a $7,500 sponsor challenge.
Here’s how it works: local businesses and community partners have committed challenge funds that are only released when our community hits specific milestones. When we reach 25 new donors, a sponsor releases $1,500. When we hit 75+ social media shares, another $1,500 becomes available. Your donation might be the one that tips us over the edge and unlocks thousands more!
It’s giving, amplified—and this year, we’re taking it to the next level.

Based on the incredible response to our inaugural Giving Blitz, we’ve enhanced the experience for 2025:
