What is the Giving Blitz?
The Giving Blitz is Columbia Ability Alliance’s most exciting fundraising event of the year! A high-energy community challenge that transforms how we think about giving. During the Blitz, every donation you make has the power to unlock thousands more through our sponsor challenge system.
Here’s how the magic works: Throughout the Blitz, local sponsors have committed challenge funds that are only released when our community hits specific donation milestones. Your $25 donation might be the one that unlocks a $7,500 sponsor challenge. Your $100 gift could trigger multiple matches. It’s giving, amplified.
But the Blitz isn’t just about the money, it’s about bringing our entire Tri-Cities community together around a shared mission. With real-time updates, interactive challenges, media appearances, our ‘Giving Blitz’ hype video, and more, this event turns supporting Columbia Ability Alliance into a community-wide celebration.
Whether you give $5 or $500, participate in our social media challenges, or simply cheer on the community from the sidelines, you’re part of something bigger. The Giving Blitz proves that when we come together, small actions create massive impact.

Road to $50,000!
Goal: $50,000 in 48 Hours! Every donation helps unlock $19,000 in sponsor challenges!
Challenge: Matching Donations
Our lead sponsor, H2C, will match the first $7,500 raised by community donations!!!
Challenge: Mission Support
$5,000 will be unlocked when 3 CAA programs receive at least 20 donations EACH.
Challenge: Geographic Reach
$1,500 will be unlocked when 10 donors from Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco make a donation.
Challenge: First Time Donors
$2,500 will be unlocked when 25 first-time donors make a contribution of ANY size to the Giving Blitz.
Challenge: Social Amplification
$1,500 will be unlocked when our campaign landing page is shared 75 times on social channels DURING the Blitz!
Challenge: Small Business Support
$1,000 will be unlocked if at least 10 businesses donate $100 or more.
