Columbia Industries Welcomes Laurie Rivera as Marketing & Communications Manager 

Kennewick, WA — October 25, 2023 — Columbia Industries is excited to announce the hiring of Laurie Rivera as the organization’s new Marketing & Communications Manager. Laurie brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic skill set to the team, making her a valuable asset as they continue to grow and serve the community. 

Laurie has nearly a decade of experience in marketing and design, including expertise in website development, SEO, social media, and paid advertising. She joins Columbia Industries from Spotted Fox Digital, where she gained extensive experience overseeing and managing various creative projects and clients, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client objectives. 

Before joining the private sector, Laurie gained experience in the non-profit world at Catholic Charities, where she served as the Communications Coordinator for the PREPARES program. During her time there, she helped create and standardize all program materials, facilitated two weekly group offerings for clients and assisted in managing and training a large pool of volunteers. Laurie’s multifaceted experience and adaptability make her an ideal fit for CI’s diverse and community-focused mission.

Laurie is an active and dedicated member of Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick, an organization committed to empowering women and girls. She serves as the District 3 Secretary of Soroptimist International of Northwestern Region and held the esteemed position of President for Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick in 2020-2021.
