Columbia Ability Alliance Achieves Three-Year CARF Accreditation

Columbia Ability Alliance, formerly known as Columbia Industries, proudly announces its three-year accreditation by CARF International for its employment services program. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded and illustrates the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards.

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International is an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human services whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of persons served.

An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has gone through a rigorous peer-review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

“I am immensely proud of our team for achieving the CARF Three-Year Accreditation,” said Michael Novakovich, President and CEO of Columbia Ability Alliance. “Our accreditation is a testament to the level of care and service we provide our clients and their families and the stewardship we employ with our business partners. It also demonstrates our team’s commitment to continuous quality improvement and our accountability to all stakeholders.”

CARF International establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services. For more information about the accreditation process, please visit the CARF website at www.carf.org
