It was a whirlwind 48 hours of generosity and fun as we embarked on a mission to raise $50,000. We asked, and our community answered: We are excited to share that we raised over $42,000 during our first-ever Giving Blitz!
Through generous support from individuals and local businesses, we officially unlocked 5 of our 9 challenges. Luckily, our generous sponsors still came through with their donations, despite falling just shy of hitting a couple of their challenge goals.

A special thank you goes out to our Giving Blitz Ambassadors, who blazed trails by setting up their personal donation links and helped raise funds from their networks. Our Ambassadors were directly responsible for raising $4,505!
We saw firsthand what a powerful tool social media can be, as we relied heavily on our social channels to help spread the word about the Giving Blitz. At a glance, we had over 200 shares, and 900 reactions, and reached more than 25,000 people on Facebook alone as we promoted the Blitz from mid-July through early August.
Our media partners also helped generate buzz with extensive coverage of the Giving Blitz. Thank you to our partners NBC Right Now, KEPR Action News, Apple Valley News, KONA, KORD, Eagle 106.5, and others who posted our event online and shared it across their networks!
