A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Enchanted Ball, held on Friday, April 10 at the Richland Community Center. This year’s event was officially sold out, and the energy in the room made it clear why.
The Enchanted Ball was more than just a dance, it was a space intentionally created for individuals with disabilities to feel celebrated, included, and connected. For many attendees, events like this are rare. That’s what makes this night so meaningful.
From the moment guests arrived, the room was filled with excitement. Outfits ranged from formalwear to fun and expressive looks, all reflecting the individuality and confidence of each person in attendance. The whimsical forest theme brought everything together, creating a magical atmosphere where people could relax, dance, and simply enjoy the moment.
This event was thoughtfully planned and hosted by our Community Center team, who worked hard to create an environment that felt welcoming, safe, and joyful for everyone. Throughout the evening, we had a steady stream of caregivers share their appreciation for the experience. Many expressed how special it was to see their loved ones engaged, smiling, and fully part of the celebration.
We were also grateful to have a strong group of corporate volunteers who gave their time and energy to support the event. Their involvement helped create a smooth, positive experience and contributed to a night that truly centered connection and belonging.
At its core, the Enchanted Ball reflects what Columbia Ability Alliance is all about, creating opportunities for individuals to build friendships, experience joy, and feel a true sense of community.
