Employment Services: Benefits Planning

At Columbia Ability Alliance, we understand that navigating the return-to-work process and exploring applicable work incentives can be a daunting task. That’s why we offer our Benefits Planning service, designed to assist recipients of Social Security and state benefits, helping you achieve financial independence. There is no charge for employment services to individuals who are referred for service by a partner agency, such as the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Developmental Disabilities Administration, Foundational Community Supports, or school districts.

With our assistance, you’ll gain a full understanding of the various federal programs providing benefits to individuals with disabilities, including TANF, Workers Compensation, and Veterans Benefits. You’ll learn how each program relates to one another and how they are impacted by earned income. Work Incentive programs can be of significant value to any beneficiary who wishes to attempt a return to the workforce. We’ll provide information on how these programs work and interact with each other and how to troubleshoot during the return-to-work process.
