On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, the spirit of community shone brighter than ever as volunteers gathered at our local community center for a half-day project aimed at illuminating our shared space. From 8 am to noon, dedicated individuals and organizations came together, wielding tools and expertise to upgrade the internal lighting of our beloved hub.
Led by Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), with Zac at the helm orchestrating the entire initiative, the event saw enthusiastic participation from volunteers like Scott, Edgar, and Matt. Their commitment to the cause was exemplary, as they worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the project.
Joining forces with CED were Absolute Power, represented by Bobby and Dereck, and Garrett Electric, with Mark leading the charge. Alongside Mark, Jeremy and Jeff from Garrett Electric lent their expertise, contributing to the seamless execution of the lighting upgrade.
The generosity extended beyond just manpower, as several organizations donated lighting products essential to the project’s success. CED, Porter Electric, and RAB Lighting all stepped up to support our community center, providing the necessary fixtures and lamps to brighten up our space.
The upgrades introduced during the project are set to make a significant impact on our community center. The transition to more efficient LED fixtures promises not only brighter spaces but also reduced energy consumption—a win-win for both our environment and our budget. Moreover, the installation of adjustable temperature control lamps and increased lighting in darker areas ensures that our center remains welcoming and functional for all who utilize it.
