Discovering the right community resources for your personal journey can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. We’ve curated a list of partner agencies regularly utilized by our clients, providing you with a straightforward way to connect with valuable local resources that may meet your needs.

Resource Hotline
Government Disability Resources
- Department of Social and Health Services: Provides oversight of many programs to support individuals with disabilities and barriers.
- Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA): To transform lives by creating partnerships that empower people.
- Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR): A statewide resource that assists people with disabilities to prepare for, secure, maintain, advance in, or regain employment. DVR partners with businesses and organizations to develop employment opportunities.
- Housing Resource Center: The Housing Resource Center, formerly known as CES Coordinated Entry System, efficiently routes households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to the most appropriate provider among the network of homeless providers as quickly as possible.
Local Disability Resources
- Arc of Tri-Cities: Offering support to community-based recreational activities and leisure services. Services are designed to assist people in developing and using their leisure time in ways that enhance their health, well-being, and independence.
- Children’s Developmental Center: Children’s Developmental Center empowers families and improves children’s lives through comprehensive early intervention services, education, and therapeutic services.
- Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia: DSAMC aims to enhance the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome by providing support, resources and information to families and community members and by promoting a heightened awareness and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome.
- Tri-Cities Residential Services: Tri-Cities Residential Services is a Person-Centered organization that teaches essential life skills and provides support to individuals with disabilities. TCRS maximizes their ability to function independently and effectively by promoting an environment that enhances the individual’s self-esteem, personal growth and self-sufficiency.
- TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities): TROT promotes physical, psychological and social well-being of people with special needs by providing animal-assisted therapies and activities.
- Strides (Therapeutic Riding): Equine-assisted learning, therapy and healing.

Basic Needs
- Tri-Cities Food Bank: Offers food to those in need living in Benton County.
- Tri-City Union Gospel Mission: Those who find themselves in need of a safe and welcoming place to land can find it at the Union Gospel Mission. They provide basic needs of food, shelter, clothing and hygiene. The Mission offers separate facilities for men and women/children.
- Veteran's Guide: Assists veterans with the array of issues they may face, including obtaining proper disability compensation, financial assistance, information on the GI bill, and more.
Counseling and Crisis Support
- National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK
- Benton Franklin Crisis Response Unit: Acute mental health intervention services, crisis intervention, referral information, grief counseling, education, emergency assistance with psychiatric medications, and consultation are all provided.
- Catholic Charities: Counseling Services
- Lutheran Community Services: Mental and behavioral health services for youth under the age of 21.
- Greater Columbia Behavioral Health: Provides behavioral health crisis services.
- Canyon Lakes Family Counseling Center: Counseling and therapeutic services.
Service Animals
- National Network: Service Animals & Emotional Support Animals Information and resources on service animals and emotional support animals.
- Heritage Service Dogs They provide AKC registered standard poodle puppies and training resources for medical, physical, psychological, therapy, emotional support and companion dogs.
