Columbia Industries, a mission-based organization committed to supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities and other challenges, received $8,374 from local Dutch Bros coffee owners during a check presentation ceremony on Tuesday as a result of their October 27th Day of Giving fundraising event.
“Tri-Cities area Dutch Bros. owners and team members are nothing short of amazing community partners,” stated Michael Novakovich, President & CEO of Columbia Industries. “Their Day of Giving benefiting CI helps us to increase services provided to individuals with disabilities and other barriers, and it increases awareness of our services. Truly a winning endeavor as it enhances our ability to serve more people.”
Owners from the local coffee stands donated $1 from every beverage sold on October 27th to support Columbia Industries’ nonprofit mission. Proceeds from the event will directly impact individuals with disabilities and barriers in the Tri-Cities community by helping to provide recreational respite services via CI Community Center, vocational food service training via Opportunity Kitchen, and employment services and job placement via CI Employment Services.
